UNESCO UK National Commission release draft brand guidelines for the United Kingdom, Overseas Territories and Crown Dependencies.
In consultation with Permanent Delegations and National Commissions, UNESCO have been developing a new logo and branding guidelines.
In July 2021 the UKNC gave a webinar presentation of the new UNESCO logo and branding guidelines to an audience of UK UNESCO designations.
The Draft Branding Guidelines are available from this link
In a digital age, the current UNESCO logo gets a little lost. The new logo gives prominence to the UNESCO acronym, whilst retaining the symbolic Temple. This is a bold move and a bold logo.
UK National Commission is consulting with colleagues in the UK UNESCO designations to ensure that the new guidelines are workable in day-to-day use.
They welcome any thoughts, insights, comments, questions, and concerns that will inform the UK guidelines. Please send them by 10 September 2021.
PROVISIONAL SAVE THE DATE: 21 September 2021 for follow up webinar.
Contact Matthew Rabagliati or Andrea Mayne at the UK National Commission for more details.
