World Heritage UK is going digital thanks to the players of the National Lottery. A grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund Emergency Fund means that we will be able to overhaul our website by December this year and take our event programme online.
World Heritage UK is committed to supporting its members and knows that the coming months will be tough for them. We know that peer support and networking is one of the things that our members value most about World Heritage UK. Our improved website will enable us to continue to do this digitally with a secure members’ area to share resources and discussions. In this way we will be able to support each other through the post-pandemic period and adjust to different ways of working.
Our events programme will make our popular events programme more accessible to more of our members and may provide a new revenue stream to support our work.
We are looking for a small number of members to join our user testing group to help feedback on the website as it takes shape. If you would like to take part in this please get in touch with Beth Thomas, Project Manager at info@worldheritageuk.org
World Heritage UK is also thrilled to have been selected for the Digital Heritage Lab programme also funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. We can’t wait to learn new skills to take World Heritage UK truly digital!
Thank you to the National Lottery Players and the National Lottery Heritage Fund for your support!
